This is because he wanted to kill her, but he was a very very gentlemanish person so he didn't kill women. So now his whole life was ruined. He had made the BEST PLAN EVER and now it was ruined.. So he changed his name to Spungbub and wore a mask to cover up his ugly ass face and so noone could recognize him. Then Nickelodeon studios went down to the bikini bottom and thought it would make a great show. But they kept the face that Spungbub had so kids wouldn't be scared of him.
